1/10 Tire roller – Hudy/Matrix/RUSH

The process of rolling the tire is used to “break” the tire glue in places where too much glue may have been used. In the rolling process you also press the insert a tiny bit flatter, which increases the air (the distance) between the insert and the tire rubber. This can improve tire performance by enhancing flexibility and grip during turns.

The roller fits perfectly into the rim and creates uniform contact and pressure when rolling, without stressing the hole in the rim. (When rolling with improper tools, you might distort the hole through which the wheel axle passes.)
